Tried to go to bootcamp today. First real venture out of the house as well. I was in there less than 5 mins. I started a gentle warm up run and i could feel my face moving up and down - like the swollen part was jigging. It hurt. I stretched my face right out to stop it doing it but it was painful. Then I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. My face had started swelling up :(
I was gutted. I stopped and the PTs came over and said yes it is you need to stop because your blood pumping is making it swell again. She advised light bike but not to let my heartrate go over 130bmp. So I did that. 20 mins on bike at low intensity and kept heartrate between 120-140. After 20 minutes though I started to feel hot and could feel it swelling up again.
Really fed up. I also can feel 2 coldsores coming so I must have been more run down than I thought.
Sigh. Dr did say it would be 2 weeks before my face was normal but I hadn't thought that I might not be able to do stuff once quarantine was up. I was so concentrating on getting out of the house and back to it I never considered I may not be able.
Depressed. Oh well. Am out tonight too at all you can eat chinese for James' birthday. Looking forward to it but its REALLY bad for the diet!!
